You came into my life as a shadow. Unknowingly I blanked you for a while. Then indeed I under stud. You was in fact a gift from heaven or you was heaven it self. And suddenly, nothing else mattered
The universe’s very existence ceased to have resonance within my thoughts
Not knowing I was living in darkness until you shone your light
A light filled with beauty and brilliancy that lit up my life
A life that was filled with uncertainty and night

Astonished, by meteors shooting across the midnight sky
I saw wondrous moons and bright stars soar
Through your eyes of perfection and radiating splendor;
That none on earth had witnessed before

Wishing this enough; that I could find and tell you
That you’re the only one that fills my dreams
And that nothing’s better than the sunrise
Your magical presence brings
Oh bright eyes,
You’re everything that I’ll ever need

Yet, once upon a time, you were mine
In a past life; Yes, a past life
But fate came all too soon and took you away from me,
Leaving my heart broken. Unable to beat on it’s own
And forced to suspend forever frozen in time
To become all but a piece of stone

But when the grief became too great
And reached as far up as to the heavens
Messengers of the divine descended, to make amends
For taking you before your time, and offered a deal though it was forbidden

I sold my soul, just to see you once more
To hold your hands, gaze into your eyes
And to swear on my life this for an eternity
That you always have and always will
Mean more than the breath of life that was given to me

But darling,
Because of what I’ve done, it pains me to say
Even when the sun is set
I cannot run or hide from the truth

Why do u keep me around even though I've tried pushing u away? Why do I want you even though you say everything wrong? Your not romantic You dont write poetry you won't tell me whats in your heart Your not what I imagined yet I'm here thinking of you, your constantly on my mind and I want to be close to you and here your words and whispers. Theres not a second I don't wish I was in your arms rather then here writing this poem. You have your walls around your heart I may never bring them down but if nothing else I would only get one thing across to you is that im in love with u I won't tell you out loud ill only gaze in your eyes a little to long and talk about u more then i should ill go on sending love notes until one day I will regret that I never told you i loved you.

As I lay here in bed,
I close my eyes and think of you.
I see your smile, and those eyes.
I begin to wonder, do you think of me too?
Here in Iraq, with a heart apprehended,
I miss you, I believe more than you know,
the feelings weren't inteded.

9 years since I felt a way like this,
It's a shadowing pain, remembered, yet easy to forget.
