You laugh at my silly jokes, even if I sometimes don't seem to understand them myself. I love you because I have a longing to be close to you and you long to be close to me. I love cuddling with you as we watch TV together. I love to be near you. I love holding your hand on a walk during the day and across the restaurant table at night. I want other people to be jealous of our intimacy and our tender affection for one another. I love you because you listen to me as I share the small triumphs or struggles of the day.
